Calling all event staff, if you’re looking for work register with us now. The Brisbane and Gold Coast events and hospitality scene is full of life with no signs of slowing down so employment opportunities are plentiful.

The month of February has a host of arts, culture, food and wine, horse racing and sporting events scheduled. Our very own client, Jupiters Gold Coast will host the comedy show with John Cleese & Eric Idle: Together Again At Last…For The Very First Time!

Notable sporting events are underway as RACV Royal Pines Resort is set to once again host the RACV Ladies Masters’ professional golf tournament, an event that attracts the world’s best players. The other famous sporting event during the month of February is of course Doomben Racecourse’s annual Girl’s Day Out.

Just some of the art exhibitions this month include the following: Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s Theatres of War travelling exhibit; Women of Substance Exhibition at the Red Hill Gallery; Director’s Choice exhibit at Mitchell Fine Art; The William Robinson Gallery featuring the William Robinson Exhibition; Jan Murphy Gallery featuring Danie Mellor’s A Sensual Instinct photographic exhibition.

Performances include: Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at La Boite Roundhouse Theatre; Brisbane Powerhouse’s Australian Performing Arts Market; QSO Plays Mahler 2 at Concert Hall QPAC; Queensland Conservatorium hosts Voyage to the Moon by Victorian Opera; Playhouse QPAC will feature The Secret River and Shen Yun; and on the Gold Coast, the Arts Centre The Space will host Stage Reading of “Allen”.

Other popular events this month include Brisbane Powerhouse’s Moonlight Cinema, Flickerfest at the Gold Coast Arts Centre, Sand Safari at The Esplanade Surfers Paradise and the Flame Hill Vineyard’s Flame Hill “Stomp” Food & Wine Festival.

With no shortage of activity, I Need Event Staff (INES) are hiring event, bar and floor staff in temporary and long term hospitality jobs.
