With Spring on our doorstep, and Summer just around the corner – the event season is about to kick off with a bang! There’s a myriad of events running at this time of the year and there is always a job for temporary event staff who are looking for work. From customer service, to ticketing, waiting and bar staff, here are our top four tips on how to secure the event job you want: Gain qualifications Depending on the job you are looking for, you may need to train and get some certification. If you want to work behind a bar, then you’ll need a current RSA certificate to serve alcohol. If you are going to be cooking then you will need a food handling certificate. Gain experience No matter what role you apply for, if you have previous experience then you’ll stand out from the crowd.
